Ride with Refugees Event

Ride with Refugees is an 7 mile bike ride event focused on building awareness about refugees, engaging the Houston community, and promoting mobility.

While Ride with Refugees is not a fundraising event, PAIR has been selected as the primary community partner that benefits the refugee community. We will be able to collect donations to PAIR (Partnership for the Advancement and Immersion of Refugees) via givelively.org

Riders arrive at 8:30 AM on October 14th, 2023

Riding with Refugees starts and stops at the Baker-Ripley Center Gulfton Sharpstown. We invite non-riders to enjoy the playground and kid-friendly Activity Fair sponsored by refugee-focused non-profits. H-E-B will provide refreshments for all!

Safety

For our safety, the Houston Police Department will provide bike escort and BikeHouston will provide ride marshalls. All riders must already know how to ride a bike.
