2016 Luncheon Recap

A diverse group of community leaders, educators, advocates and supporters joined PAIR's 3rd annual luncheon on May 6, 2016 to learn about the challenges and opportunities young refugees face, and to celebrate their inspiring achievements!

Dr. Yehuda Sharim, of Rice University and the Kinder Institute for Urban Research, served as keynote speaker. Through the lens of his project entitled "Houston in Motion: Empowering Houston’s Migrant Communities," Dr. Sharim shed light on the richness of refugees' personal stories, the great potential they bring to our city, and the support they need to succeed. Thanks to those who attended our event!
