Rice University

PAIR was originally founded as a campus organization at Rice University in 2006. In April 2007, PAIR incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to grow its capacity to achieve positive outcomes for youth, their families, and volunteers. PAIR still maintains close ties to Rice and our Rice volunteer group is very active.

If you are not yet a volunteer but would like to get involved with our Rice volunteer group, great! Learn about our current opportunities and connect with us through our volunteer information page. Or, if you are ready to fill out a volunteer application, note in the "additional information" section that you would like to be connected to a volunteer leader on your campus.

University of Houston

The University of Houston PAIR volunteer group was established in fall 2010 and is in the process of growing its volunteer base and leadership.

If you are a student at UH, we want you! Learn about our current opportunities and connect with us through our volunteer information page. Or, if you are ready to fill out a volunteer application, note in the "additional information" section that you would like to be connected to a volunteer leader on your campus.

Existing or New Groups

Make a regular volunteer commitment with your friends, collect in-kind or financial donations, or raise awareness about refugees in our community! View our "5 Ways to Get Involved" summary or our volunteer information page to learn about our current opportunities.

If you are interested in being a campus or community coordinator for a new PAIR volunteer group (or interested in a volunteer opportunity for your existing organization), please contact Suzan Samuels (suzan@pairhouston.org).
