Join us for an Evening of Literature and Advocacy!

The University of Houston Department of English and the Partnership for the Advancement and Immersion of Refugees (PAIR) are proud to present renowned British poet and writer Patience Agbabi for a night of powerful literature and advocacy.

Join us on April 28, 6:30pm at Covenant Church as we celebrate literature's ability to draw attention to the ongoing refugee crisis and advocate for refugee rights. In this special reading, Agbabi will share some of her most powerful and moving works, including selections from her acclaimed collection Telling Tales and her contribution to Refugee Tales

This special event is free and open to the public, with opportunities to meet Patience Agbabi and learn more about the important work being done by PAIR.
